Summer 20: The Collection of a big summer

Every independent UK clothing brand has a moment where it stops being an idea and becomes something real. For Counting Miles Clothing, Summer 2020 was one of those early defining moments — but the story actually started before that, with our very first drop: Phase One.

The Early Days

Phase One was the collection that kicked everything off — the first time we put our vision into the world. Then Phase two. Summer 20 followed shortly after, building on that foundation and pushing the brand further. By this point, we knew what Counting Miles was about: movement, miles, and clothing that means something.

The Summer 20 Collection was small, intentional, and honest. Bold graphic tees, quality blanks, and a brand identity built around the idea that where you're going matters as much as what you're wearing.

What the Collection Stood For

The name Counting Miles has always been about the journey — the distances you cover, the places you go, the experiences that shape you. Summer 20 continued to put that into clothing. The prints were direct, the fits were clean, and the message was simple: wear something that means something.

Why It Still Matters

We've grown a lot since those early drops. The collections are bigger, the releases are more refined, and the community around the brand has grown into something we're genuinely proud of. But we look back at Phase One and Summer 20 as the foundation everything else is built on.
